About the Los Angeles Cup
The Los Angeles Cup – Part of the WORLDWIDE SHOWCASE SERIES – is a championship style soccer tournament welcoming teams ages U9 – U19 to come compete for the ultimate experience. Teams will get to enjoy the warm weather of California while playing on a sprawling 35 field complex.
The Lancaster National Soccer Center is the largest soccer complex in the West. The facility includes 35 premium fields, with 11 fields fully lighted. A highlight of the Soccer Center is the five FIFA fields, so designated due to meeting the International FIFA specifications for turf quality.

OPEN TO CLUB TEAMS/INTERNATIONAL TEAMS | 3 Games Guaranteed
***Teams should be prepared to play at least 1-2 games per day
Acceptance process: once a team applies and is accepted, entry fee must be submitted within 10 days of acceptance OR your team will be wait-listed. Teams who are accepted and withdraw, entry fee is not returned.
Stay and Play: This is a stay and play tournament for “travel teams”. Travel teams will get access to hotels once they are accepted and the entry fee is paid in full.
Game Schedule: Teams will play 3 games guaranteed. All teams prepare to play at least one game Friday. Teams that qualify will have the opportunity to play in the final Championship round on Sunday. All games including Championship round will conclude before 4:00 pm Sunday.
Parking: there will be a $5/day parking fee for each vehicle which is set by the city of Lancaster.

Due Date: 15 days prior to event date
If you do not complete your room reservations by this date your team will not be scheduled and will be cancelled from the tournament.
You are required to submit signed Sports Waivers for each team member and coach that will be listed on your official team roster. Medical Waiver Click Here
MANDATORY: All teams must enter their rosters complete with bench personnel into the GotSoccer tournaments on-line document section no later than 14 days prior to start of event. The minimum required information is Name, Date of Birth, player ID number, Uniform number and gender. Revisions can be made to the roster up the night of team registration. This information will appear on the tournament game reports to be used by the referees for check-in on the field prior to each game. Teams failing to input this information are subject to removal from the event. Access your Online Roster here.

Note about eligibility/age requirements: The player’s playing age is determined by the following USYSA guidelines for 2019/2020.
USYSA and USSF SANCTIONING
This tournament is sanctioned by CAL SOUTH, USYS and USSF. In order to participate, all players and coaches are required to have a current USSF/USYSA or their Affiliates Player/Coach Pass Card.
SANCTIONING RULES FOR TEAMS
In order to participate in this tournament all USYS and other USSF affiliates must be in “Good Standing” and obtain Permission to Travel* from their State/National Association. Please bring a copy of your completed approved/certified roster along with your permission to travel to the on-site registration.
**Permission to Travel is not required from teams registered with US Club Soccer.
In order to participate in this tournament all teams from outside the United States must have written permission and verification from US Soccer and their country’s Federation indicating authorization to participate in the Los Angeles Cup Tournament.
At least one team representative must attend and that representative must present the following documents:
Approved/Certified Roster from your State/National Association
Permission to Travel (not required from teams registered with CalSouth or US Club Soccer)
Player/Coach Pass Cards
Completed Medical Waiver Forms
Medical Release Forms (Kept with managers On-Site at all times)
LA Cup requires that all teams participating in the tournament provide medical releases for each player in an appropriate form. Most organizations/clubs/leagues/teams have their own forms. These are acceptable for the tournament. These authorizations shall be reviewed during the registration process and kept in the possession of a team official at all times.
